Side Mounting Magnetic Level Switch

Introduction to Side Mounting Magnetic Level Switch
PITAMBARA ENGINEERING is a leader in providing cutting-edge solutions for level measurement and control. Our Side Mounting Magnetic Level Switch is a high-performance device designed to accurately monitor and control liquid levels in a wide variety of industrial applications.

This advanced level switch operates on the principle of magnetic field actuation, ensuring precise and dependable performance. Engineered for side mounting on tanks, vessels, and containers, it is ideal for situations where top access is limited or impractical. The device is constructed from robust materials to withstand challenging environments, including high pressure, temperature, and corrosive conditions, making it a preferred choice in industries such as petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, water treatment, and power generation.

Key advantages of our Side Mounting Magnetic Level Switch include:

  • Reliability: Non-contact magnetic sensing eliminates wear and ensures long-term accuracy.
  • Durability: Built with corrosion-resistant materials to endure harsh industrial environments.
  • Ease of Installation: The side-mount configuration simplifies integration into existing systems.

Whether for liquid level monitoring or high/low-level alarms, PITAMBARA ENGINEERING’ Side Mounting Magnetic Level Switch offers a dependable and cost-effective solution for your operational needs.

  • Precautions for installation
  • Applications
  • Features
  • During installation, tank shuld be completely empty.
  • There should be no objects which shall hinder the float.
  • Ensure that the float position inside the tank should be such that agitation on it will be minimum.
  • The position of mounting nozzle should be far away from the liquid fill pipe to protect the float from damage and faulty readings due to turbulence.
  • Ensure that tank structures / fittings do not come in the way of calibrated gauges boards
  • Instruments required- Welding machine, combination/crimping plier, spanner and adjustable.
  • Even with large changes in liquid density, the immersion of a large diameter float will change very little, thus density has little effect on accuracy.
  • Float systems are simple and easily understood.
  • Even if the primary requirement is the transmitted signal, local indicators can continue to operate, even on loss of power.
